Today marked day 1 of my A-100 training. I spent the day with my many colleagues at the Main State building getting fingerprinted (again) and attending briefings on mostly redundant (for me) topics since most of my benefits transferred over directly from my last job, and standing in lines. Really, really long lines. I got my fancy badge, took a self-guided tour of the building, and enjoyed some delicious Singapore rice noodles. Afterwords, I went to a pub for a drink and some bar food with some new-found friends and fellow bloggers (Hi Theresa!)
All-in-all it was a good, if a little overwhelming day. I am excited to get my schedule tomorrow for the rest of A-100. I can’t believe this is actually happening!
